Had a great meal here with friends. The Stir-fried Pork with Chilli Peppers was authentic and packed with flavour, and the Lamb Chops were cooked perfectly. Large portions, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great location, especially if you are visiting the British Museum. The two standout dishes were the crispy pork and the egg fried rice. The pork was juicy with perfect crispy skin. Some of the best egg fried rice I have eaten. Fluffy rice with loads of flavour.Service was friendly and the dishes came out fast, I would recommend to visit.

After visiting the British Museum, I stopped by this restaurant— and wow, it was such a satisfying meal! 🍴Highly recommend their Sizzling Japanese Tofu — the skin is super crispy, while the inside stays soft and silky. The tofu soaks up all that flavorful chili sauce… absolutely amazing! 🔥The Crispy Pork Belly was also a standout — the skin stayed crunchy even after it cooled down, with that perfect balance of saltiness and richness. After this hearty Hunan meal, I felt completely recharged and comforted.Finding such authentic Hunan flavours right next to the British Museum was such a lovely surprise✨

The fish offal hot pot was the best. Generous portions of fish roe and fish pieces, simmered in a rich, spicy sauce. The roe had that slightly crunchy, popping texture, soaking up all the chilli oil and seasoning — fragrant, savoury, and seriously addictive. The sizzling Japanese tofu came out still bubbling. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, coated in minced meat and sauce — comforting and very satisfying while hot.We came mainly for the fish hot pot, but every dish we tried was solid with no misses. By the end of the meal, we were already talking about coming back next time.

This spot near the British Museum really hits the mark. The fish offal hot pot is generous, with fresh, flavorful fish and plenty of roe. The beef is tender with large slices and pairs perfectly with chili, great with rice. The clam omelet is fresh and not fishy at all.
